Hello and happy new year to you all. I hope that Santa brought you all new skis and lots of snow.
So here we are at episode 50 of The Ski Instructor Podcast. I'm personally amazed that I have managed to find enough content to keep this interesting for 50 episodes and 80,000 downloads.
For the 50th episode, which also doubles as the late Christmas special, I bring you a great interview with Katie Dobson who is an independent ski instructor based in Chatel in France. She runs a company called Ski Goddess which runs ski camps/holidays specifically for women. You can find Katie at www.skigoddess.co.uk
We chat about stray dogs, her journey to full cert, why she started Ski Goddess, female specific teaching and working and living in France.
This time of the year is always difficult to keep to a regular posting schedule, the ski school is busier than ever but I will do my best.
Enjoy the snow

Welcome to episode 47 of The Ski Instructor Podcast, this week featuring Federico Wenzel from Argentina.
The summer heat here is finally fading and there is an autumnal feeling in the air at higher altitudes.
I had a great chat with Federico who is working his way through the Argentine ski instructor qualifications. We touched on many topics, including the Argentine system itself, early experiences of skiing and how he balances his time between doctoring and skiing.
You can find him at www.fedewenzelski.com
We are busy preparing for the forthcoming ski season here at SnowPros www.snow-pros.ski and SnowPros Snowboarding www.snowpros-snowboarding.com after this lack of rain all summer, I have a feeling it will dump down with snow this winter.
